Excerpt of the day :
In a lot of ways a bookstore is a 'smarter than you' store. And that's why people are intimidated. Because to walk into a bookstore, you have to admit there's something you don't know.
And the worst part is you don't even know where it is. You go in the bookstore and ask people,
Where is this? Where is that? Not only do I lack knowledge, I don't even know where to get it! So just to walk into a bookstore you're admitting to the world, 'I'm not so bright.' It's pretty impressive, really. - Jerry Seinfeld, Seinlanguage
A certain someone recently submitted to the call and allure of the blogsphere and I was as happy as I could be for said person because I think blogging is such a fun past time. And I don't know if said person created a blog since "Everybody has one", but I prefer to think that said person wanted to experience the feel of blogging rather than doing it 'cause its the 'fad'.
Seriously, the more blogs I have to read, the happier I am. BUT, said certain someone COPIES WHOLE PHRASES or even PARAGRAPHS, and most of my TERMS when writing about the same topic as I have. Which is quite annoying, because what's the point of reading someone elses blog if you can just read your own?
What made me hit the roof was the use of a certain word which I and no one else ALWAYS USE. At least change the grammar will you? Aargh. Your insulting your own intelligence.
Anyway, MY BOOK FINALLY CAME! YAY!
This book, I've been searching for it EVERYWHERE. It's practically EXTINCT in Malaysia. Borders had one copy, and it was damaged! They offered me a 5% discount for a book which had damage that I wouldn't even find on a house in Uganda. However, long after I had given up hope, Brigitte suddenly remember I wanted it, and used her online book site to search it up. I could have done this on Amazon etc., but my parents don't allow me to use credit cards online. Hence, I paid by cheque, got a discount that made it the same price as Borders, and got it 9 days later all wrapped up and bound and stuff. (They said it would take 7-15 working days, it only took 8). Three layers of wrapping! Hehehe
I'M SO HAPPY!!!

Seinlanguage was published in 1993, and was a #1 New York Times Bestseller. It was released in the middle of the Seinfeld show (1989-1998) and is the same type of book as Ellen Degeneres's "My Point...and I do have one", which I've also ordered =D
I really love the book, and I've only read 1 page so far! Hahah...I'm saving it! And besides, I've a lot of shows to watch. I like the back cover!
