My mom didn't let me buy the ticket because she had spent the same money to get us tickets to some play! Sniff. Which means, I'm no longer going for MCR's concert, 'cause its on the same day!
I was so disappointed! I mean, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity! But then, a glimmer of hope shone in the darkness. Yee Ping told me that if I wanted, she could get me a ticket to join her in the CORPORATE BOX for the match between World No. 2 Rafael Nadal and Richard Gasquet. I was so excited, but my dad wasn't even back yet, and I wasn't sure that my mom would let him drive all the way to Shah Alam in the darkness. My mom confirmed this, and so I resigned to the fact that I would miss out on such a historical and brilliant match.
The match WAS brilliant, and I was cursing and gasping the whole match through when I watched it on the telly. I even got a glimpse of what I think was Ping. Hahaha! I was smsing her all the way through, and in the end, when Nadal took the win, Ping was SO DAMN EXCITED cause he was taking off his shirt...WTH...hahah!
But yeah, he won, but for one set he played horribly! Sigh.

Anyway, a few months ago, when my mom's friend from Monash came down for the opening of the new campus, we went to a restaurant just up the lane from HELP to have dinner. Its practically next to HELP, since its on the road in front of KPMG. Its not the one storey lots in front of the basement, but the large bungalows up the road from them. Anyway, we decided to go there because it had just opened, and the house they were in used to belong to my great-grandmother. They had a bar upstairs which mostly had Chinese and foreigners and the Sri Lankan restaurant downstairs which mostly had Malays and Indians. Weird huh.
Anyway, the food was OK, tasted just like what I have at home, but the atmosphere was nice.
