Saving Face

On Thursday night, we had to drop off my sister at her friends house off Jalan Ipoh (Mun Yee!) 'cause they were going for Chicago The Musical.

So, we decided to have dinner out. I wanted to go to Food Foundry, but halfway there, this happened :

Dad : Food Foundry...its open air is it?
Me : err...no...one sides open la...it doesn't have a door.
Dad : hmmmm....
Mum : Where is it?
Me : The same row as Gregory's old house
Mum : Gregory? Who?
Me : ....Gregory Tan...from school!
Mum : Oh...I forgot where he lives! I think we ate at their branch at Section 17 once, when Ruwan went out.
Dad : hmmmmmmmmm...I don't think I want to eat there
Me : *dreaming of chicken cordon bleu and chocolate layered cake* WHHYYYY?!!?
Dad : *to himself* I think I should eat somewhere posher...
Me : ...................


So, we ended up going to Chilis, BSC. I haven't eaten at Chilis since the beginning of the year, and haven't eaten at the one at BSC for ages. I remember I had my Form 1 birthday there (I wanted to put up the picture, but I'll put it up once I get it from Sara).

Anyway, I digress...

I had the Old Timer with cheese, my dad had a Cheese Burger, and my mom had Triple Play. I ended up eating half of the Triple Play as well. Go figure. Sorry Sherryn, these pictures were taken with my phone, so their...as bad as Seoks ;)







After our yummy dessert, when we were settling the bill, I noticed my moms friend going up the escalator. So, we waited 15 whole minutes until we saw her come back down, and my mom hid behind the pillar, and jumped out at her saying 'Woof!'.

Me : .......


After talking to her and her husband for a while, and planning our impending trip to Fraser's Hill, we went back home. Later at 11.30 I went with my mom to pick up my sister.

And the next day, it was our turn!
