I sent this message to 4 people, and those who replied said : Eh? Your going to the US meh?
Me : "=.=
I went to CHICAGO THE MUSICAL!!!! My mom took me!

How many Clorets I eat in one go...
It was fantastic! My mom liked My Fair Lady better, but this so trumped it!

Normally we would buy the programme etc., but this time when my mom asked me what I wanted to buy, I said "I want a mug puhweeeezzz?!"..(can use in Aussy mah)

YAY!!! :D
It was held at the Plenary Hall at KL Convention Centre.

Our seats were good. We actually wanted the closest to the stage, but we were told it was sold out. However, on that day, the whole block was empty, so we were shifted up during the second act. The music and the singing and the dancing and Amos were out of this world :D It was hilarious, sexy, sad, and exciting all at once!
During interval, we bought loads of cookies and two coffees, and hurried back to our seats. Also, we booked tickets for Beauty and the Beast (it'll be showing when I get back from Aussy for my June/July holidays).

I managed to sneak a few blur pictures of the second act eventhough handphones were prohibited.
Okay la...very blur.

My mom and I kept laughing at the guy who was running around shouting 'PROgramme book' at the top of his lungs. I was laughing 'cause of his emphasis on the syllable PRO and my mom because it's just programme, not programme book.
The movie followed the plot of the musical very well, and I like both very much. But the musical cast is all White, while in the movie Queen Latifah plays the matron.
My mom wanted to try out the LRT, so we took it to Asia Jaya where my dad picked us up. I went back home, changed, and straight away got back into the car to go visit an aunt who had come down from Ipoh. Came back home exhausted, but managed to watch TV till 1.30am :D
I've ordered this book that I've been searching for forever! There are no copies in Malaysia! Grrr...I've finally found a place that can send it over, so I'll blog about it when it arrives.
Chicago the Musical has a live band, and the conductor is so funny! He keeps you entertained at the beginning and at the end when the cast members are preparing for major parts. And the whole show is very well organised and timed and orchestrated. A definite must watch!
I'm gonna watch the movie now! Haven't watched it in ages :D
