Bukit Tinggi Part 2

On the way, my mom spotted hundreds of acorns littering the grassy pavements along the roads. My moms starting to decorate the house (orchids in vases, paintings, that sort of thing), so she thought it'll be nice to have some to add to the decor. Mr & Mrs Friend who are both very into the decor thing agreed, and got down to pick some up.

"Hoy! Thats mine!" came out of nowhere! There was a man up in the trees!

He was quite nice la, and told us to take as many as we liked, and that he was plucking them for the hotel. We offered to pay him, but he refused our money, and showed us where the best ones were.

We then drove down (and then up) the rolling hills to the Japanese Tea Garden. The oldies thought they wouldn't manage the climb, so Mrs Friend and I went to check it out. I loved the trail, and the walking, and the trees etc. all around me. It was really well designed and upkept.

I wanted to watch the Japanese Tea Ceremony, but it was RM20 per person, and Mrs Friend didn't think it would be worth it (she's seen it before in Japan).

I went on to the end of the trail while she looked at all the Koi fish in the lake, and happened upon two Spa houses!

I also wanted to check out the Botanical Gardens, but the rest were too exhausted, so we headed back to the car. We cooled off, downed some Samosa's, and then headed back to KL.

Or so we thought.

Mr Friend wanted to see the Deer and Rabbit Park, but his wife and my mom didn't want to! So, he just took us there without us knowing. Hahaha.

I have never seen so many rabbits in my life. There were literally hundreds!

This was one lonely corner of the least populated area of one pit.

They even have a small picnic area, with rabbits hopping around, where you can sit and play with them and stuff.

They also had Donkey rides, and a half-rate shoddy "Deer Sanctuary" which was basically a shed with 10 deer.

On the way back to the Pajero, I made the acquaintance of this really good-natured, friendly dog!

Awww.

And then, we headed back home.

But when your with Mr.Friend, theres always a tale to tell.

Part 3's up next!
