Screwed.

Seok and I have a history of canceled meet ups. She ALWAYS asks me out on Mondays or Thursdays, which "coincidentally" happens to be the only two days where I work! So finally, as you may have read before, we agreed to meet up this Friday to try out the famous Nirvana Banana Leaf at Bangsar, and then dessert at Delicious.

Okay, but first lets talk about Thursday.

The stupid coffee machine wasn't working, and while I'm pounding away at the keys this very nice, motherly looking middle aged Indian lady comes up to me.

IL : Hello! Have you had your lunch yet? *big friendly smile*
Me : *pounds away at coffee machine* Huh? oh...yeah...
IL : So your studying is it?
Me : *gives up and turns to her* I just finished my A-Levels? So I'm on break till February.
IL : Oh, where did you do your A-Levels?
Me : Where? Oh..HELP...
IL : Wheres that?
Me : In Damansara
IL : How much does it cost?
Me : 21k for 18 months.
IL : Do you have a brochure or something?
Me : I don't, but I can get one for you?
IL : Thanks a lot! Can you pass it to me on Monday?
Me : uhuh...where will you be?
IL : I work in the lab in front of you!
Me : ...oh...


So then I thought, perfect! After the lunch with Seok, I can get the brochure from HELP since she had dance class.

Also, Emy invited me out for Wednesday, but since I was going out too often I said I couldn't. I contemplated canceling on Seok, but then thought that I should go with Seok since we rarely meet up.

I also rang my driving instructor to tell him that I wanted an earlier class on Friday (cause I would need to bathe and stuff after class). But he ended up postponing the class to Tuesday, so that was good too.

Then I thought of asking Boon along cause I wouldn't be seeing him before he left, but thought it was just supposed to be me and Seok so I didn't.


Then at 12.20pm, I decided that I should sleep early so that I can wake up on time for Friday. So I put off all the lights and stuff, and was clambering into bed when my phone started buzzing heavily on my table. So I stumbled through the dark hitting myself in various areas until I managed to get to the phone and answer it.

I saw Calling : Seok.

Me : *she's gonna cancel*

And she did!!!!!


Okay la, she asked if I minded changing the place to Pudu, and if she could bring 4 of her other friends (who I don't know) along, cause they wanted to have a farewell for Boon.

I was fine with the Pudu thing, but then I didn't know her friends. And I had told my mom I'll be back at 3 and she was already asleep so I couldn't change anything.

So I told the obviously squirming Seok that it was alright for her to go with them, and that we would go out some other time (in 2 weeks).

And then I hung up (12.40), and then fell into bed again. And then just as I was going to close my eyes in sleep, it struck me...

HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO GET THE BROCHURE NOW?!

Omg, I can't show my face at office! I bet that lady already told her child or whatever that I was getting the brochure on Monday, and the next time I would be seeing her would only be on Thursday! And I don't even know if I'll be going to HELP before Thursday.

OMG...OMG...how!?!?!?!?!
