The Day after That Day (Part 2)

So, I woke up the next day at 9.30 in the morning! Cause I could hear my mom calling me from downstairs. She wanted me to get ready to go to IDP.

So, we reached IDP at 10.30, and then we filled out the 4 applications, and then we were told that at 11.30, there would be an IDP fair going on upstairs. So we went for the fair, but didnt apply cause I hadn't collected my results yet. Anyway, after being assured that I'll be offered a place since I had met the requirements, my mom was in a good mood again, and so I broached the question :

"Since I'm going to get my results, my friends invited me to join them for lunch there...Can I go?"

Okay.

Me : Wow.

Hahaha...anyway, first we had to deposit my paycheck into the bank, and since it was near our house, my mom wanted to be dropped off first. So then my dad drove me to HELP, and went back home. While collecting my results, I could see a lot of people heading towards me, so I turned my results slip over, and just shot through their ranks to find Pearly and Lixia. Then we went to order our LAN certs, during which various people snatched my results slip and tried in vain to read them - none of them succeeded (or some pestered me to tell them like Yung Chien and Shing Yun - both didnt succeed either =p).

Then we dropped Shing Yun off at her house. Along the way the three of them tried to get my results out in the open, but I can be stubborn no? Lixia and Pearly were getting redder and redder, and then suddenly the car screeched to a halt.

Pearly : WE'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE TILL YOU TELL US YOUR RESULTS!

So we LITERALLY stayed there for 10 whole minutes. Somemore we were parked next to a dustbin so the car was stinking up! During this long boring wait, Lixia kept trying to get my results slip, but she couldnt find it (I had hidden it under the floor rug where I was sitting, and my feet were firmly planted on the ground). Finally I told them I would tell them once we had lunch.

So we set off, and took 15 minutes to decide where to eat. Finally we found ourselves heading to 'The Apartment' at the Curve. I had forgotten my camera, so couldn't take pics :'( Anyway, I kept my promise and told them my results, and they both promised not to tell anyone.

Then Lixia's mom rang, and Lixia told her my results.

Me : "=.=

Nevermind la, not like Lixias moms gonna tell anyone...*cough*

So embarrasing.

Pearly had Chicken in a Bag (she said it was nice, but a bit tough), Lixia had Alfreds Pasta or something, and I had Tossed Pasta which was good! We had some surprises during our lunch, and then we told stories, and then walked around for a bit.

Then when we were heading back to the car, we passed Dragon-I.

Lixia : Eh your friends are there! Their waving at you!
Me : *ducks instinctively* WHERE?
Pearly : *points at window next to me*
Me : oh oh...*waves*

It was Sarah, Sheen Sern, Richard, and guy-who-always-says-hi-to-me-but-I-never-remember-his-name.

Me : Sigh. They must be all thinking were celebrating great grades like them, when were actually celebrating mediocrity.

Anyway, Lixia and Pearly dropped me off, and came in for about 20 minutes, and then headed back home.

And that was my post results day =)

(I couldn't go back to IDP to hand in my results since it was too late, so planned to go the next day).
