So Ill blog about 2 things!

The last two days have been the best =)


Let me tell you the tale of Ruwan and the Ipod

Ruwan has always wanted an Ipod. He has infact entered the shop with the intention of buying one over five times, but all five times has exited the shop with empty hands to the disappointment and exasperation of the paparazzi. One day, Ruwan chanced upon Digital Mall, ordered the Ipod, got the freebies, and while waiting for the man to get the box, had a conversation with him :

R : so hows the warranty like?
Weird Man : you can repair ANYWHERE one, but sometimes the shop is naughty and so they say no
R : oh.....


*2 minutes later*
WM : And these are your speakers...
R : so I can repair anywhere?
WM: you can repair ANYWHERE one, but sometimes the shop is naughty and so they
say no
R : errrr....Have you had any cases if anyone was turned away?
WM : No, cause I dont know them what...so I dunno la!
R : errr...can I think about it, and then come back later?
WM : Whats actually your problem one!
R : I wanna make sure I can repair it anywhere! So I want to ring Mid Valley and Australia and see if theyll repair it
WM : Haiyah, lucky for you I neved open this box yet, later dunno how to sell

Ruwan thought that would be the closest to him getting an ipod, but then he heard of this magical festival happening at the KL Convention Centre. So on the very last day of the magical event, Ruwan woke up from his sweet sweet dream and decided he would buy an Ipod that day. Unfortunately he had an engagement at one, and it was eleven. However, he was determined and so bundles his moving-wallets into the car and shot off to KLCC.

An hour later, he reached the first stall of interest : MacCity...But it was the same company as the one in Digital Mall, and he hated WM, so he decided to move on to MacAsia, on the other side of the world. There, he learnt that the only repair show was BSC, and he was about to buy when he heard someone talking about Machines. So he went back to Machines, at the other end of the 1060 meter festival and bought it there. He was told he would get some free gifts totalling RM600 and so he bought it happily.

Meanwhile he found out that his sisters pen drive was unavailable for his use at the engagement and so he rang his friend called Pearly and asked her to bring hers. However she was not sure if she had one. So losing his head with worry not knowing where to get a pen drive though he was in the middle of the biggest PC-Fair in history, he went home in the car sulking.

Finally resigned to the fact that the whole thing would blow up in his face in the form of Charmaine and Jia Hui he decided to pull out one of the freebies. He stared at the foreign object trying to figure out what it was when he read the heading

1GB PEN DRIVE

So Ruwan made it to his engagement and reached home at 7.00 where he promptly unwrapped all the freebies and the ipod itself taking a video of himself and snapping pictures along the way.


MY IPODS HERE IN FRONT OF ME FINALLY....

80G, RM1499...

sigh...so worth it...


However, JH, P, and C were so insulted that he didnt bring his Ipod to show off, so instead of using it at home that wondrous night, he saved it till tomorrow, so that he could use it in front of them. However, when he reached, it was snatched and passed around the class for everyone to use and was given back at the end of the day, used by everyone but him =p
