Let me tell you about my idol Hilary Duff.

She had CONNECTIONS!!! Her older sister Haylie acts as well and is in music group Inventing Venus. And her mom Susan is a music and movie producer! Her dad owns a chain of department stores in Texas. Her boyfriend is the lead singer of Good Charlotte (Joel Madden)!

She was rated the #1 Hottest Teen Female Star for 2003 based on her acting, singing, public appearances, and charity work.

For her 2003 debut album Metamorphosis, she won the 2004 Kids' Choice Award for Favorite Female Singer, and Best New Female Artist at the 2004 World Music Awards. Her video "Come Clean" was nominated for Best Pop Video at the 2004 MTV Video Music Awards and the album was nominated for Best International Album at the 2004 Juno Awards(Canada's version of the Grammys).

She was also voted the 19th Greatest Teen Idol of all time by VH1 in 2003. She also hosted the special, and also the Fake ID Award in 2004 at the second annual TRL awards. The Fake ID Award is given to the hottest star under 21 and is voted by the people on mtv.com. AND

Just like me, she likes all types of music but unlike me she dislikes techno music.

She plans on starting a design for dogs called Little Dog Duff named after her now-dead dog who had the same name.

Shes in HARVARD! well...almost...she sas been homeschooled since the age of 10, but along with her sister, shes taking two online correspondence courses via the Harvard Extension School.

She works for the charity Kids With a Cause (which helps children stricken by poverty, hunger, sickness, a lack of education, abandonment, neglect and/or abuse) since it was founded in September 1999, and is the 2004 Official International Spokesperson for it.

Has her own clothing line "Stuff by Hilary Duff" at Target stores which made $5 million in its first year in stores. She performed at 'President George Bush' 's youth inaugural concert.
Donated sales from her sold out Most Wanted Tour to the Tsunami victims in South Asia. [2005]

Donated many signed head-shots to Rocky Stone to be auctioned off to raise money to buy more toys for the Toy Mountain Campaign 2004. Visited Kitchener, Ontario, Canada in February 2005 to perform in a Tsunami relief fund raiser.

Announced that she will donate $200,000 to the American Red Cross and $50,000 to USA Harvest to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

In 2006 she made Rolling Stone magazine's list of the top money making of the past year. The lost reported that Duff made $17.1 million. Duff was the youngest person on the list and was joined by music heavyweights U2 and the Rolling Stones.

Helped raise $23,000 at the 2004 celebrity auction for Breast Cancer Research.

She made the Forbes list of richest young stars under 25, she made $15 million for the year of 2005. She beat out rival stars like Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes.
