Oh I forgot to blog about last Saturday...

Last Saturday I decided to show my face at Toastmasters because I knew that three people would be giving their speeches (and I wanted to SUPPORT them =p)

1. Seok Mei
2. Kah Yang
3. Andrew

And I like marathon thingies...anyway

In the end Andrew didnt make his speech, eventhough I told him there was an empty slot.

Seoks speech was her...erm...4th? It was on everybodies favourite subject Cakes! And the title, 'Cakes! Cakes! Cakes!'...she talked about 3 different types of cakes, Cheese, Chocolate, and Sponge...with a bit of butter cake in there as well!

Kah Yangs speech was his icebreaker. Thank God I didnt let Seok manipulate me into doing my icebreaker that day, cause he was so good! For a first timer! Im gonna wait till Im the only ice breaker on that day, so that theres no comparison going on..hehehe

Anyway, Kah Yang really spoke confidently, and I was actually quite pleasantly surprised

Also, a lot of times they were saying about how preparation was so important, and we would look at each other, cause HE ONLY PREPARED HIS SPEECH FOR ONE HOUR!

Then after that he offered to drive me to Wisma Help, cause I had to sign my IELTS form, and register for my exams. On the way to his car, he was asked to help carry a piano all the way back to the place we had come from (8 guys not enough ah?), and so the poor guy rushed all the way to the front of the Main Block after his show-of-strength, cause he didnt wanna keep me waiting

I dont mind you know! So, thanks so much Kah Yang! (you dont read my blog, but nevermind)

oh, and I dont think I can join the ping pong club anymore! no transport! haahah



Anyway, moving along...

something happened to me today (or rather something was cancelled), and I was so pissed off, but I dont wanna talk about it, so moving along somemore!!!

Long time no conversations right...well...heres a filler

*Looks for messages on Toastmaster outing*

Oops, I deleted all of them....anyway

the bottom line is

Mum : How come you didnt go to your friends house in the end?
Me : Cause that stupid Mun Yee just suddenly decided she was to lazy to get into her moms car and be driven Cause one person couldnt make it
Mum : Oh...(read : oh you poor thing, now you cant go out anymore...you can watch TV the whole day okay?)
Me : *childish voice* and then mummy you know what!!!!!
Mum : what?
Me : Cause that person cancelled last minute, I couldnt tell you about the Toastmaster outing to Times Square Theme Park!!!
Mum : *laughs* I cant drive to Times Square, you know that right?
Me : yeah, but they were meeting at intervals at diff LRT stations!!!
Mum : Oh..then...you could have gone...
Me : I know =(
Mum : *Laughing* At this age you all still want to go to a theme park?
Me : *makes wierd squawking noise* (read : whhhhatttt....nothing wrong whatt!!!)


Haihz...yesterday I was bitching on the phone to 4 different people about my outing being cancelled...I really felt so mad!!! Hahaha...oh well...

I stay at home so often anyway, theres practically NO DIFFERENCE!
