somethings really frustrate me
as most people can attest to, Im a person who is very well known for remembering peoples birthdays, and those who I dont really count as my friends, I still manage to jot down their birthdays somewhere, and wish them, cause it makes me happy, and hopefully them as well
When my best friend Zlins birthday came along, I wanted to sms her at exactly 12a.m, but since she was in Australia, it had to be done at 9.00pm the previous day. So, I sent the message at exactly 8.59pm, and it reached. Then she replied, thanking me and stuff, but then, she reminded me that her birthday was on the 28th and not the 27th…I had screwed up the dates, since I was studying for exams at the time
Today, Monday, is my Form 5 good friend Raymonds birthday. So, I wanted to sms him at 12a.m Aussy time, and so I set my phone alarm to 9.59pm (only 2 hours ahead this time). But, somehow, the alarm didn’t go off, and so suddenly at 11.30 I realized, and sent it over. So since it was still Sunday in Malaysia, I was getting a bit confused. My friend Siti Sarah (Lala) ‘s birthday is a day after Raymonds, and so today half asleep after 3 hours of LAN, I suddenly thought ‘Raymonds birthday was yesterday so that means todays Lalas!’
So I smsed, her and then she rang me
Lala : hey Ru!
Me : hiii…that was fast
L : hahah yeah….
Me : so wats up?
L : just wondering, has friendster said my birthday was today or something?
Me : erm…noo…I remembered…..
L : oh, cause its tomorrow….
Me : …………………………………..
whats the date today?
L : hahahaha, the 17th!!!
Me : Sh(ooooooo)t!
Haihz….so frustrating
