So, her daughter would be my aunt. But in my family, my dad’s cousins and me are really close to each other so we just call them by their first names etc. This happens to the point where they forget I’m their nephew and in the case of those with young kids, keep telling them to call me “Uncle Ruwan”.
Anyway, her daughter is down from Australia for 2 weeks with her 2 year old son Nathan. Nathan’s dad is Hong Kong Chinese mixed Australian. His eyes are perfect circles. You could fit a 20 cent coin into them perfectly.
We hosted a small lunch for them at our house yesterday. Nathan is such an interesting child. He won’t stop talking, and that’s surprising for his age. And of course he has an Aussy accent.
So, it was me, my mom, my other “cousin” (call her D) and her husband, Nathan and his mom (let’s call her N). Also in attendance were N’s brother’s 3 boisterous kids. After lunch, N and Nathan got some sleep, while D went back to shower. My aunt came to collect the spare 3 kids.
In about an hour, my mom, N, Nathan and I went to pick up D and her youngest child, and then we headed to the Curve! Winter Warmers! The Curve’s deco is quite nice!
We had a good conversation, and Nathan attempted to sing ‘ABC’, ‘Baa Baa Black Sheep’, and ‘Rasa Sayang’ for us. Seriously. I wish we could have taken him home with us.
Unbeknownst to me, Elvyna, Arafat and their college gang were also in Winter Warmers, and so saw me when I went to get the bill. So embarrassing. Sniff. And they didn’t even say hi. GRRR…I really didn’t notice them at all!
N said that in Australia, when I’m bored, I have 4 options :
I can come over and walk her 2 dogs.
I can come over and baby-sit Nathan.
I can come over and play XBox and PS3 to my hearts content.
I can come over and housesit when they go out and do point number 3.
All have a free meal involved!
She also said I can come over and study in peace: she would put Nathan to sleep and she and her husband would go out.
Yay :) I doubt I’ll be doing any of those things other than point number 3, so yeah. Hehehe
Anyway, my aunt was staying at the Le Meridien over the weekend for fun, and had brought N and Nathan with her. Nathan was jumping around the bed, when he got distracted, and fell down, hitting his head on the windowsill. He required 3 layers of stitches, and is going to take them out today. Hence my aunt had to leave work early, and so here I am blogging to pass the time.
I’ll be staying at the Le Meridien on Friday, and half of Saturday. The room’s worth RM399, without food. It’s my aunts Christmas present to me. She’s also giving me a complimentary Hi-Tea for two, valued at 50++ per person. My mom’s coming with me for Hi-Tea, but if I’m hungry, I’ll be needing a teman to go with me to MV for dinner! :D

As you're writing in the past tense, 'he won’t stop talking' ought to be he WOULDN'T stop.
Won't is the contraction for will not. =)
