I have broadened my appeal! People I don't know read my blog too! Wow :D I'm becoming the next Seok Mei!
Maybe soon, people will start approaching me in Mid Valley going "Ruwan? I read your blog!", or as soon as I walk into Orientation at Melb U, hundreds of heads will swivel in my direction and they'll all start whispering "Is that Mr. Pigwoo?".
Yeah, right.
If you don't understand what I'm talking about, read the comments on my generation thingy post. "We're old" I think.
Unless it was just Brendan Chan...then I would just be disappointed.

I had this really insane dream last night. I actually have a lot of weird dreams, as my friends know, but I just woke up 15 minutes ago, so I can still remember this one :P
It actually started 2 nights ago, when I dreamt that my family was on holiday. Towards the end of the dream we bumped into my newly married cousin (who lives in Perth) and she asked if I could be groomsmen for her husband's brother or something. So my mom said OK,
Last night, the wedding took place. We rushed over to the wedding in either a 1966 Jaguar E-type, a 1966 Lamborghini Miura or a 2006 Aston Martin Vanquish. I was decked out in those old style suits, the ones with a black vest over your white shirt.
I went up and somehow the place was filled with people from Garden International School. I came to this conclusion cause they were all either locals who went to international school, or foreigners. And also in the packed lift, I was standing next to Brian Choo. Go figure.
We were ushered in into this theatre, and we were sitting talking like it was LAN, when I noticed a sign hanging from the stage saying "No Vincent Allowed". Considering only one Vincent I knew fitted into the dream, up popped Vincent behind me, telling me that he had to leave.
Now, for Rezza's party, Yan Mei had asked me if she can bring Vincent, and I told her Vincent was already invited. So now in my dream, I felt responsible since I had supposedly invited Vincent to this wedding. So, I asked him why he was being kicked out, and he told me to ask Lixia.
I went in search of Lixia, in this hotel that looked exactly like Mid Valley, except it had wooden doors where the shops were. I found her hanging her school bag on a Christmas tree and her books and pencil case on another (she had come to the wedding from Uni). I asked her, and so she sat down at a ginger bread table and started doing her homework, puncturing holes into the paper (and table) with her pen while telling her tale.
Apparently she had been doing Bible homework, when Vincent came over and conteng-ed her Bible a bit, and so she went and told Mr Lee (Cempakan Maths teacher Form 5).
Then she and I got into an argument on how ridiculous that was and so I left, only to find that the wedding procession had started. There were supposed to be 15 bridesmaids and groomsmen, all teens, the couple was a teen. However, there were only 14 groomsmen since I was not there, and so I just stood and watched a "march" I was supposed to be in disappear.
I decided "To Hell with it!" and joined the line to eat. I saw Charmaine and Lixia walk off in the opposite direction to find a place to eat that was "less crowded and less expensive" - obviously they didn't realise that this was a WEDDING!
The line was too long, so I whipped out my Tape Recorder remote to put on Bones, but then I realised that my remote had a Video Camera!!! So I was video-ing all the decor for my blog, when I saw Charm and Lixia in the distance leaning against one of the railings standing a little ways from this brooding Malay girl that looked like Clareen - build, hair, everything. The Malay girl was doing her own thing, staring at people.
Me : "Say your Christmas wishes!!!"
Lixia & Charm : *opens their mouths*
Suddenly, this hand sprung out of no where, grabbed my remote control, and twisted it, effectively breaking off a small part of the casing. The camera itself was fine, but the casing was cracked. It was the insane Malay girl!
After exchanging a few expletives, I walked off to join the food queue again. However, I soon realised that people were falling ill all around me. The bridesmaids and groomsmen rather. And their partners. And people they came into close proximity with. Then, an alert came on : "KILLER VIRUS SPREADING FAST! WILL THE INFECTED PLEASE FOLLOW THE NEAREST HOTEL STAFF! Enjoy your stay :)"
Unperturbed, but resolutely avoiding all these infected dungus, I decided to go to the concierge to complain about the wedding procession starting without me. I cut right to the beginning of the line thinking that I saw Emy, Wei Xiong, and Rezza's dad having a conversation, only to realise...they only looked like them and had more facial hair.
After letting the concierge have it, I let off that all the infected people were the people IN the wedding train. This really caused a stir : The concierge sprung up shouting for the person in charge of the wedding train, and people were gasping all around me.
Then, my parents, and my cousin and her husband came running through the hotel doors asking me why I wasn't in the procession, and if I was upset and stuff.
Me : Haven't you heard?! There's a killer.................
And then I woke up.
Hahahaha...what was so great about this dream was that it was so real! I mean...Charmaine and Lixia always do complain about eating at expensive restaurants, the current Heroes plot is the killer virus thing, Lixia does go to uni and carries some files in her hand, and the rest in her bag, and I did invite Vincent. :)
OFF TO THE MERIDIEN FOR ME!!! :D
