The end of Pigwoo

Yes, sadly, I will be leaving Pigwoo - after Christmas, but before the year is out.

A few weeks back, I actually decided that I would leave Pigwoo the day I left for Australia. A new chapter of my life, a fresh page to blog on. However, Google indexed my name, won't take it off, and so here we are.

Sometimes, when I wanted to do posts of certain calibre, I didn't - I thought readers would think I was trying to be a blogger that I wasn't. Now, I'll be able to restart my hobby, managing my own trend.

Sort of like Hilary with Dignity.

Oh, incidentally, I won't be blogging much about Hil in my new blog.

MUCH.

Pigwoo stores a lot of memories. The way the name came about, and the wonderful year and a half that I had, during which I came home and posted to Pigwoo.

Everyone liked the name, it was quirky and it was easy to remember. It brought jokes, laughter, new forms of greetings (Pigwoo!), and brought its two masters closer, from acquaintances to friends.

I never thought I'll say this, but it PAINS me to leave this blog. To change it's name. But Rachel and I agreed that "Pigwoo2" wouldn't be the same.

And besides, password protection was becoming a pain.

Pigwoo is all geared and set up for Christmas. And I can't imagine blogging anywhere else on that day. So, in advance : bye to Pigwoo.

And thanks to Rachel. My new home will always have a room above the garage set up for you if you should ever need it :)


If anyone has ideas on a new blog address, I'm all ears! I haven't closed escrow yet ;)
