The re-release of Hilary Duff’s Dignity album - titled Dignity 2 - is slated for March 4, 2008.
A 2 CD set will be released. This could mean more bonus tracks!
Hollywood Records, a part of the Walt Disney Entertainment Company / Beuna Vista, is planning to release several discs in an alternative CDVU+ format. Artists signed on Hollywood - The Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, Hilary Duff, Raven Symone and many more are set to come out with respective records in a new musical encoding (CDVU). A number of artists are set to re-release their records, adding Hilary Duff to the list.
Duff, who recently released "Dignity" in April 2007 is also going to come out with a re-release sequel entitled "Dignity 2" in March 2008. "Dignity 2" is still in the planning stages of its production, and the target being set by Hollywood for the record is a 2-disc edition. Duff will not only release "Dignity" again, but will also record new tracks for it. "Reach Out" [Sampling "Personal Jesus" by Depeche Mode] is the only track confirmed so far, but Duff is definitely set to record more.
Hilary Duff is also shooting a film titled "Greta" in Ocean Grove, New Jersey alongside Ellen Burstyn and Evan Ross [The son of Diana Ross]. Duff’s upcoming film, "War Inc" will also star John Cusack, Marisa Tomei and Sir Ben Kingsley.
