Belanja hor? :D
Oh btw Seok, someone found my blog my searching up "lim seok mei" on google.
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Sherryn, who has forwarded me 30 readers so far this month!
Anyway, Bukit Tinggi!
We were supposed to leave at 9.30 but my mom's friends weren't at my house yet. Finally they arrived, and after 15 minutes of chit chat we decided to go in their car, and leave our car at their condo. So they drove all the way to my house in vain. Sigh.
I joined them in their car cause its not sold in Malaysia, so I wanted to poke around. It's a smooth ride, but nothing special la. Once we reached their place at Bukit Persekutuan, we switched over to their Pajero. It's not your ordinary Pajero 'cause its imported from Japan. Quite cool la!

He also has a 500cc motorbike!!!
Here are some of the other cars in the garage :

An E200 Kompressor, a Ferrari, Merc SL55, and another Merc sports.
My mom had packed a 'Necessities Basket' :

We then...headed to Bukit Tinggi! The Pajero was exceptionally comfy. Seriously. Mmmm.

My moms friend drove. He's a doctor. My mom actually went to school with his wife. Husband and wife both were inheritees, if you get my drift.

Our first glimpse :

At our destination :

Entrance Hotel Lobby :

We really wanted to see this castle hotel, but construction has not finished. But its just HUGE! HUGE! HUGE! There are TWO DIFFERENT CASTLES. My mom says we can stay there once it opens :)

Colmar Tropicale was really amazing. I felt like I strolling down Diagon Alley, in Harry Potter. It was such an extroadinary atmosphere, and I felt simply elated.
The hotel rooms are above the restaurants.

Since, as my mom put it, this was MY holiday, and Mr. Friend said this was my celebration for getting my licence, my mom was pushing for us to eat at La Flamme (the red tarmac one) since she knew I wanted it. But Mrs. Friend wasn't too keen on it, so we settled on Le Blason.

That is the Wishing Well in front of Le Blason. All proceeds go to charities dealing with abused and single mothers.

And I didn't even mind. Wow. That place really has an effect on me.
The food was good, and reasonably priced at RM35++ excluding drinks. It was my first time eating "cold pasta" and I prefer hot pasta, if thats what you call it.
There was also a quaint souvenir shop and a fragant bakery.

The entrance to Colmar Tropical is through a drawbridge. There are about 5 swans! 2 black, and 3 white.

The lift under this sign said 'For Authorised Personell Only', but I wanted to go up! My mom almost freaked out 'cause I was almost pressing the button :)

We then explored the rest of the street before heading to the Japanese Tea Garden.
