You know in The Holiday, when Cameron Diaz goes walking along the shops in that British area?

You know Sherryn’s picture of the quaint window set into brick with green plants flowering underneath the ledge?

It gives you this sense that you’re in a quaint neighbourhood living a slow yet wonderfully fulfilling life. I love feelings like that, which is why I watched The Holiday, and which is also why I’m really jealous of my friends who live in England.

I know it’s not like that all over, but still.

I would love to have studied in England, but the only way was twinning via Nottingham, which does not guarantee you a place. The most ideal was HELP to Manchester, but its Law. But now I regret not doing that.

I dunno. I tell myself I’ll love Australia, and I always thought I would, but yet I still get this slight pang of sorrow that I didn’t grab the chance to go to Manchester.

It’ll pass once I land in Melbourne around the 18th of February 2008, but till then I’ll have to cope

Anyway, yesterday I was playing around with the privacy feature on Facebook, and Lixia very kindly let me use her account to test it out.

Lixia : The password is *insert password*

Me : ah okay thanks so much! But what’s your username?

Lixia : …hahahahaha!!!!! *laughs for a few minutes* Omg…I don’t know!!!!

Me : ……

Lixia : wait wait!!! I can’t remember!

After about 6 minutes, I decided to log into my own account to see if there was a way to tell her to check her username. And so, I was entering mine :

Me : *ho hum* *enters email* EH??

Me & Lixia together : ISN’T THE USERNAME THE EMAIL ADDRESS??

Hahaha…total waste of 10 minutes!

Today my cousin rang my mom to ask her something and then said that my aunt/boss had told her that all the staff are ‘fond’ of me.

Me : *big grin* told ya!
