When I was small I didn’t have many stuffed toys. I didn’t want any, obviously, but somehow people kept insisting on giving me some. So I ended up with a monkey (haha at Mun Yee), a bear, and a dog. All were small enough to be carried around in your hand.
I was a big fan of dogs, and the 101 Dalmations (I still use a 101 Dalmation clothes hanger...its a dalmation and has 10 hooks, and stretches according to will), so I had about 25 plastic 101 Dalmation characters in different costumes.
When I was 5 I loved Winnie the Pooh, so I had Tigger and Pooh (in his pyjamas).
Anyway, one day when I was experimenting, in either standard one or two, I learnt how to make mini pillows and bolsters out of tissue papers. So from then on, every night I would make a pillow, a sheet and a bolster for each of my toys and arrange them in rows in one of the drawers.
My 70 cars didn’t escape either. I made them hoods. And they got lined up along the wall (or rather parked along the wall).
Hehehe…finally my mom started buying me my own tissue box – it was lower grade.
Speaking of pillows, when I was REAAALLLYYY small, I would never leave my pillow on the bed incase ‘Mr Pillow’ got lonely. Hahaha…I’m serious! It had a name :)
When I first got Rover, it used to come pick me up from school almost everyday. It only stopped when we got rid of the old Merc and my mom didn’t want it on the new one’s or the Altis’s seats.
Oh oh, and in my old car, I used to get up and lie down in the space between the back window and the back horizontal part of the car. I was so small so I could squeeze inside. My parents were a bit worried though because obviously I wasn’t transparent and so they couldn’t see behind.
Also, I used to stand up on the back seat and look out when my mom was reversing, and I would always say ‘Go! Go! Go! Can! Can! Can!’ even if there were cars coming. It took her years to trust me again =p
Part 3 is short, and is coming up!
