Time, French, Work

My aunts gone to give a talk in the conference room. I arrived 4 hours early today (at 9 a.m). She went to the conference at 9.20, and I finished the work she left me at 9.45.

So now I’m waiting for her to come back so that she can give me more work to do.

Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CHING CHING! (30^th September).

I can’t believe its October. Seriously. Where did the last month go? I was planning to do one semester of Business at HELP to occupy my time, but that fell through in the end because my mom wants to go to Australia for a holiday, and to check out my accommodation, in November.

I however, don’t wanna go on holiday (omg, how I’ve changed), so we decided we’ll leave that hard decision for later. I also asked my cousin in Melbourne to check out my two choices of apartments (Arrow on Swanston and Unilodge D1) for me, and prepared a list of questions for each.

But, you know me, paranoid, so I’ll be ringing them up anyway to ask. Hahaha

4.5 more months till I leave. Omg. How? I’m really scared! I used to think I would be fine living on my own and stuff, but I’ve been having doubts lately. I mean, I’ll be so lonely, living alone! And what if I don’t make any friends! Ill be even lonelier, and probably come back after a year. Sniff. Somemore most of my friends are in the UK, and I’ve lost touch with those in Melbourne (and dunno la, quite awkward), and only 2 people from HELP (that I know) are coming to Melbourne U.

But I’m sure there are people who live alone and are doing fine right? Wai Ee?!?!! Hahaha!

But then Wai Ee’s so popular friendly, and by what I can tell from her blog, she wastes money goes out almost every day!

Oh by the way YE, do all the Unilodge rooms have windows? And do the toilets have windows? And is there an ironing board/dryer? Fridge, microwave? Washing machine? And is there a café downstairs (cause I can’t cook)? And can I visit you even if I stay at Arrow (=p)? And what’s the difference between standard, superior, superior view, and balcony view?

Am I passing my headache on to you? Hehehe

Its 10.03 my aunts not back yet.

Also, what church am I gonna go to? I always planned to go to Planetshakers, but then…you know…not that sure about it anymore…anyway, if there’s a church on the campus itself then I might go there. (I can’t believe I’m planning to go to church every Sunday, since I only go twice or less a month here. It just shows how LONELY IM GOING TO BE!).

Me : Can we cancel the bankdraft?
Mom : No, why?
Me : Then I can do twinning from HELP. Kill two birds with one stone. Occupy myself and save money.

But anyway, my mom okay-ed my plans to learn French at the YMCA. Including work, that should occupy 4 days out of my week. But I haven’t found out the price or times yet. I haven’t told her I planned this with Emy yet, cause then she’ll think I’m only doing it cause Emy’s doing it (my mom thinks I’m kiasu). But it’ll be fun huh Emy?! Hehehe!

My dad says there’s no point in learning a language. Well, too bad, I WANT TO! At least I won’t be paying through my nose like Ju did when she did hers at HELP.

And little does he know that one day I might apply for a job in France – they pay the most.

I’m addicted to the Hairspray soundtrack. Its getting annoying, cause I can’t sleep properly. My favourite song is ‘You Can’t stop the Beat’, but somehow my third favourite ‘I can hear the bells’ keeps playing and playing in my head without permission. Tied as my second favourites are ‘I know Where I’ve Been’ and ‘Good Morning Baltimore’.

Its 10.30 and my aunts back.

Okay, she just told me that she had to give a lecture at Monash at 11. So that wraps up my work day. 2 hours. 1 hour doing nothing. But I'll be going tomorrow to finish up. Toodles.
