After getting over my anger that I wouldn't have anything to do for the next 4 hours (work? what work?), I started to panic. Why did this happen? OMG! Has it happened before? Maybe their gonna fire me for using the net!!!
Worry Level : 320%
And then I realised other people also surfed the net behind the back of the watchful evil hell they call the IT Department, so I went to check another computer across the lab, and that had the same problem too.
Worry Level : 106%
Gradually, after mulling it over in my mind (maybe their just checking up on the servers; its not like I surf for porn or anything; for the past 2 months nothing has happened and I used the net more back then!), I brought my worry level down.
Worry Level : 40%
Then, I made the grave mistake of sms-ing Rezza about it
Worry Level : 8650000%
The milder things he said were things like : You'll have to pay a fine, and if your aunt requests for a itemised bill, all the sites you visited will be there.
I DON'T WANT MY AUNT TO KNOW MY (OR MY FRIENDS) BLOG ADRESS!!!!
Anyway, to drown my fears, I went to get my coffee.
The coffee machine was spoilt.
Me : NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Frustration Level : Sorry, we can't take you reading as your meter has burst.
Anyway, two sleepless nights and two busy mornings later, I drag myself into the office on Thursday, and was again greeted with no sound.
Frustration and Worry Level : Sorry, meter is beyond magical repair.
But then....
Me : OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WOOOOORRRRRRKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!
The site was under construction hence the loss of noise. And the reason for the internet being cut off was that the servers were overloaded. However, my aunt got them to turn it on especially for her computer and they consented (everyones afraid of her). And to top it all off :
Aunt : Oh, good news! Your coffee machines repaired!
