My review of Dignity. (was supposed to be up after exams but then this guy said he'll do a review as well, so that its like i-hate-hilary vs. i-love-hilary ratings, so that its fair, but he still hasn't done it, so forget it.)

I shall be perfectly unbiased kay??? Trust me? =p

She co-wrote all songs, except for one which was written by Pink. Overall the album was above average, it was good. The only thing is that for some of the songs, in the middle of the album, the key was very low, and so your brain just sort of shifts it into your subconscious if your multitasking. The fast and the up tempo songs are excellent, and the sad and angry songs are great when your down, and the happy songs are great when your full of life, happy and just wanna fool around. Its a total different genre of music than her previous albums. Its sort of rock, techno and dance, all in one. I love all, so this was a great album for me. I can't get enough of some of the songs, and while shes probably gonna lose some of her tween fans, she'll definitely gain more mature ones =)

I did a song by song review, but will post that up when I have nothing else to post up =p.

But some songs have a history, so here they are :

Stranger : About her dads infidelity with a air stewardess 10 years younger than him. They met when he was flying back from a family get together.

Dignity : About the Hollywood starlets who just lose their heads and don't maintain their dignity (which she says is the most important thing to her), a.k.a our favourite heiress and gang!

Danger : About her friends romantic involvement with a much older man.

Gypsy Woman : Written by her and her sister about their fathers mistress.

Dreamer : About her stalker who threatened to kill her and Joel if she didn't marry him. He came all the way from Russia to meet her.

Outside of You : Written by Pink.

Play With Fire : (Rumored to be) about Aaron Carter, who broke up with his fiancee saying that he was sorry for what he did to Hil, and that she was really the one for him.

My favourite record on the album is Play With Fire, but the best SONGS on the album in random order are :

Outside of You, Happy, Never Stop, Burned, Play With Fire.
