Happy Seok? This is the 'guess what' earlier ;)
There are five things in life that make me happy. A satisfying dessert (esp. chocolate brownies), a laughter filled conversation, a good outing with friends, singing or dancing, and spending money (or having money to spend when I want to).
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to do point number 5!
I accompanied my mom to our photo shop in Amcorp Mall cause my camera lens was spoilt (you could only see black when you put it on). The guy said repairs would cost RM400 - 500 so we might as well buy a brand new camera (which was what I suggested to my mom on the way there). So, in the near future we'll (note I now use apostrophe's, since Lixia says its really really wrong to not use them =( ) be buying a new Ixus. My moms eyeing the Ixus 7 but I'm pushing for the Ixus 80. I think I might be taking the new camera to Aussy, or if we decide to repair the camera next year then maybe Ill be forced to take that one. Ill put up a good fight though ;)
Anyway, feeling satisfied that RM1800 would be spent one day soon, unsuspectingly I wandered off to find the book shop I used to rent books from in my younger days, and was pleasantly surprised to find it as quaint as ever! My mummy promised to bring me back whenever I needed to rent books =D
Then when my mom was done searching for crossword puzzles, still unsuspecting we headed to the entrance when my eyes suddenly saw :
GIORDANO
STOCK CLEARANCE
STOCK CLEARANCE
Me : Mummy look! Stock Clearance! (usually we dont go even if there are sales, but I enjoy pointing them out anyway)
Mom : Oh...okay, lets go! *heads into shop*
Me : *dumbfounded* huh?!
I love Giordano dressing rooms universally! Anyway, I bought RM663.16 worth of clothes for RM 252.52! Hahaha! And they were actually nice! Not like those crappy Petaling Street looking ones you usually see when you walk past a stock clearance-ing shop.
I was beaming all the way home!
On Friday, my mom and I joined my cousin, her son, and her mom for yee sang and dim sum at Eastin Hotel. I love lil' Nathan! He wanted me to accompany him to see the lion dance (which was going through the various parts of the hotel) and very purposefully led me by my two fingers as he waddled searching for the source of the very loud banging and clanging (He just turned two)
He's Sri Lankan (mom) and Australian mixed Chinese (dad). This is the same one I went to babysit at BSC last year when his mom and grandmom (and my sis) had their 'treatment' at Cut Above (where he had his first hair cut as well!)
Hes cute la! He likes me a lot too =) O gosh, Im so pathetic that I revel in babies adoration...I need companionship =p
My aunt stood the RM300++ lunch after ceremoniously stuffing tonnes of food down my gullet into my already bloated stomach! She ordered like 10 dim sum dishes with this hugh plate of yee sang. Sigh...it was fun!
I sorted out my bank probs, and got a proper account at CIMB in KL (I LOVE THE BUILDING!) and withdrew some cash for Rachel's gift...Still haven't decided what to get her though. The book was........INCREDIBLE!
Teller : Would you like an ATM card?
Me : *thinks of all the atrocious spending I would do, and I could get it cause my dad was busy conducting business on the phone behind me) errr...no...
Dad : *hangs up* NO! NO! TAKE IT!
Me : huh? She asked if I wanted an ATM card you know?
Dad : oh...nvm then...
I wonder what he thought they were offering me? ;)
Tata!
