The final episode of the OC aired last night.


ITS ENDED FOREVER PEOPLE!!! FOREVER!!!!


I couldnt stand the wait any longer, and so I went on to the official website to read the recap...When I first entered the site, I was greeted by this oh so beautiful picture :


And so I turned on Celine Dion - All By Myself, and I could just feel the tears popping up in my eyes building up pressure against the dam of my eyelids wanting to burst out...sniff


AND THEN I READ THE RECAP

And I was like...OMG...*BAWL*

They ended with such perfect closure, that ever if the creator of the OC changes his mind and accepts the offer for the OC to be continued on another network, he cant...He solidified the plot too much...its over...


I cant believe it...


ITS OVER!


FOREVER!



Sob...snifff...


I never knew losing a show could cause this much pain! More than Seinfeld! THE SHOW IS SO YOUNG...AND THEY CUT IT HALFWAY THROUGH THE SEASON!

At least they could have lengthened it to a full season right?


I HATE JOSH SCHWARTZ (who by the way created the OC when he was only 26!)


You know how when you lose a show that you love so so so much, you just start surfing the web trying to find out every single detail about how it started, who started it, and all the finer details, and then you move on to the cast, and google them to see what their doing now, how they look like in real life, how their like, and then you listen to all the 100 or so interviews on the shows website and at all the pictures and everything


And then when your done, theres just a faint hint of everlasting sorrow that your generation has lost such a major part of its culture.

The OC will always be remembered for it’s dramatic, humourous, happy, sad, romantic and just plain awesome scenes it has provided us with over the last 4 years

This show helped us all through high school, giving us something to look forward to watch - no, live through- for 45 minutes every Friday morning once the downloads done. It gave us something to talk about, laugh about, worry about, and stress about all those 4 years. It gave us hope, joy, fun, entertainment, and laughter, and inset in us the fact that teens will be teens and that theres nothing wrong with that. It related to the lives of many people, and the latest season was the best ever.

And so, this post serves as an everlasting commemoration to the greatest show to hit night-time American TV ever.
