Today I was supposed to get up at 12 to make up for lost sleep (having to wake up at 8.00 for Chem and Physics extra classes the days before) but at 10.00, my mom came barging into my room telling me to get changed cause my sister was coming home...cause near her office in KL (PriceWaterHouseCoopers at the Sime Darby Building) a tree had fallen, and had hit her car and the windscreen had shattered...

So I was wondering, what has this got to do with me? Its not like I have magical powers and just say 'Reparo' and the glass will mend right? Then I was still sleeping, and at 10.30 my mom got a call saying my sis was at my dads office, and had taken his car to work. So at 11.00 I was forced out of bed to go to my dads office to take PICTURES OF THE CAR!

Then, when we got there, I saw the car and it looked fine except for the side mirror which had split and fallen off. So I was wondering what was going on, so I went up to the car and saw this massive crack right along the screen...THE GLASS HADEN'T SHATTERED IT HAD CRACKED! Surely a girl who represented her school for debating and her company for Toastmasters should know the difference? See...TOASTMASTERS DOESN'T HELP!

So I had to drive home in the cracked-glass car, because my dad had a meeting about the Maldivian project hes doing at Shah Alam, and so he took my moms car...and so I had to sit at the back incase it decided to crumble...So that means I cant go to college at 3 for my Econs Revision class...sighh...

So my mom is responding to my whinings by telling my dad to come back early from his meeting by 2.45 so that she can take me for class...cause I dont want to ask Hanna and her driver to take me...so...like...disturbing...

SIGHHHH...

Speaking of Shah Alam, if you recall, my family depends on me to find unknown places? So my sister had to represent her company to do some auditing at a company in Shah Alam, so I had to go with her and my dad the day before to find it...and when we found it, it was next to these two buildings which had the same name...and the name was so familiar! And the colours too! Then I read the full name and it hit me!

IT WAS RAYMONDS FATHERS (and Daniels) COMPANY...Kian Joo...supposedly Malaysia's premier can and boxes manufacturer...(my dad says their quite big la, so I suppose what I saw on their website is true)...they have a factory in Taiwan too I think...

So my sister said : Wow Ruwan, so you went to school with some big businessmen's children huh? I went to school with maids children!
Dad : you did not go to school with maids children!
Sis : ....well...there was one maids child...

Cause my sister went to Assunta (back when it was actually good) cause we lived up the road...

My parents feel very guilty that they sent her to goverment school and me to private school...especially since she studied her accountancy locally at Sunway, and Im going overseas...eventhough, as my mom likes to tell me, SHE STUDIED A LOT MORE AND WAS SO INTO HER STUDIES THAT THEY HAD TO FORCE HER TO EAT CAUSE SHE STUDIED SO MUCH...

Me : And thats why she got 2A's for her A-levels la
Sis : no la, I studied like that when I was in secondary school...During college I became normal
Mom : *stares at her*
