Mom : I want to watch the news!
Me : NOOOOO! IM WATCHING TV!
Dad : You can play your game on the computer!
Me : NO! I WANNA WATCH TV!
Mom : WE WANT TO WATCH THE NEWS!
Me : I WANT TO WATCH THIS DVD!
Mom : YOUVE WATCHED IT 5 TIMES!
Me : I WANNA WATCHHH!!
Mom & Dad : Okay



Monday morning :
Rezza : eh you know Yusri's dad passed away right?
Me : *mouth pops open* HUH?
Rezza : Yusri's dad...
Me: Khir Johari?
Rezza : yeah
Me : WHEN?????
Rezza : yesterday..the funeral was yesterday too...it was on TV
Me : WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME!!!! I WAS WATCHING THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA!

Monday Evening :
Nick : eh you know Yusri's dad passed away right?
Me : yeah...I just found out
Nick : I went to the funeral you know! I was watching football and in the middle of it I found out and so I went to the mosque...what kind of friend are you man?!
Me : ............*feels very depressed* I DIDNT KNOW!!!!



Yeah, anyway, Tan Sri Dato Khir Johari passed away yesterday at the age of 83. You may have read about it in the papers (theres a 5 page write up). But hes not only my friends dad, but he was my dad's dad's boss. My grandad was the Director of Education under him when he was Minister of Education.

My mom always saw him at Selangor Club events, cause he really loved getting out and attending the parties eventhough he was ill.

I feel sorry for Yusri. In school he was always the 'funny quirky' kind of guy, and he was a really nice person to everyone. He always took the effort to talk to you though he was in a rush to go somewhere. Also, he won Talent time every year that he took part in, and was crowned the first ever Cempakan Idol for his Michael Jackson impersonation. He dances and grooves to Michael Jackson numbers in his suit and gloves and tophat even better than MJ himself, and his moonwalk is FANTASTIC.

I just dont think its right for someone to lose his parents at the age of 18. It just shows you never know what can happen do you?

Anyway, my condolences to Yusri and family.
