Surprise Surprise Se2Ep3

Anyway, before Ching and all arrived, Tse Hans phone battery died out, and so he asked if he could use my phone. So I gave it to him, and asked Briggite for HER phone to put my sim inside incase anyone called me.

Briggite had never opened her phone before so while she was figuring that out I watched Tse Han apprehensively while he figured out my phone

TH : eh, Ruwan, your calling Ying Sim is it? Ill cancel it

Me : HUH? NO NO!!! SHES CALLIING MEEEEEE……..

TH : *rejects call* oh….

Me : ……okay…

TH : okay, so how to put in the sim card?

Me : *does it for him* here…

TH : ohokay…how to on?

Me : ………………………………the red button Tse Han

TH : oh oh! I didn’t realise that was actually a button…

Me : ………..*looks over at Briggite who is still trying to open her phone*

After 5 minutes….

Briggite : oh! Oh! Here its open

TH : thanks Ruwan, here you go

Me : …………………………………….sigh

Me : eh, theres a miss call from ray mun *calls ray mun back three times but he doesn’t pick up*

Charmaine : did he say he was coming?

Me : errm….he wasn’t sure

C : aiyo, he doesn’t answer his problem la, just don’t count him in first

Me : but….

C : just do la!

I tried Ray Mun I really did ;p

Anyway, the tables were coincidentally colour coordinated red and green (the middle table green, the two ends red), so even though I didnt implement my dress code, it turned out okay in the end. The guests for each person were placed at the two red ends, and the neutral people who came for both sat in the middle at the green table.

So, the lunch progressed as per normal, and we all ordered our dishes in confusion, much to the chagrin of the waitress in charge. Charmaine and Siew See were quite upset that we didn’t get the ‘cute’ waiter in Itallianies to serve them, but they got over it EVENTUALLY…

Anyway, to make a long long story short (and glossing over many many weird albeit interesting and funny conversations) the lunch started about 2 o’clock, and at around 3.00 I asked them to bring the cakes one at a time. So first came Ching Chings :

Tiramisu....deeeellliiccciousss!!!!

And her touching, emotional speech :

And the VERY VERY offkey singing :

And, they sang happy birthday...for Mun Yees, they sang 'If your happy and you know it clap your hands!' =). And everyone, every single person, stood up and CRANED THEIR NECKS to look at my (I mean, her) specially-ordered Powerpuff Girls Blackforest Cake =)

Not many pics of Mun Yees, cause too many people were standing up, so I couldnt get a proper picture, cause I couldnt twist enough (I was standing behind her)

And then we CAMWHORED!!! I resisted from being in many of the pics, pleading unphotogenicness, but finally succumbed to some :

extreme left : me, yee ping, charmaine, mun yee

im sure you can guess =)

just one (or at the most two) more part to this no-longer-a-trilogy to come =)
