Today, my alarm rang at 7.20am…or rather it rang at 7.15am, but I only realised that it wasn’t a dream when I rolled over and my leg hit my bedside rolling-table. So, after hitting it, and falling asleep again, I woke up at 7.30am, to the sound of my dad calling me frantically from downstairs. I leisurely got up, stretched my legs, noticed casually that during the night my phone had fallen from the bed onto the floor, got up, and put my phone to charge. Then, I sat down lazily on my chair, drank my morning dose of milk, and ate my slice of bread + butter + jam, and the bun that my maid had left on my study table.
At approximately 7.38am, I headed into the bathroom, and had my shower, and brushed my teeth etc. I dozed off in the shower, until once again my dads calls shook me out of my stupor. At 7.45am I exited my room, and put on the computer. I then resized my Personal Statement font for the fun of it, and printed it out. The print ran out half way, so I entered my utility, opened a new cartridge and inserted it. At 7.55am I drifted down the stairs
Dad : ‘RU! Your going to be late!!! How come you took so long! Are you feeling alright? Whats wrong? Are you too sick to go to college
Me : Im fine!!! Don’t need to rush today
Dad : Why? Whats your first lesson?
Me : Physics Lab only….
Since the last night I had slept really late, I hadn’t packed my back, so I slowly took out all my books out of the bag, stared at them for a while, and put in whatever I needed. Then I went down to see if Chip (my chipmunk) was any better, and petted it for a while. Then my puppy was getting jealous, so I strolled outside to play with it. I got slobbered over my hands, so I decided (dunno why) to change my clothes.
At 8.05am, I got into my car, and drove to HELP. My dad forgot to go UNDER the highway and went over it so he got stuck to the traffic. I saw Rezzas car whiz past on the traffic-free underway, and my dad refused to break the law and cut illegally across. I decided I wanted to listen to music, and so closed my eyes, and must have drifted off since when I opened my eyes I was inside the KPD compound.
At 8.20 when my car was whizzing past KPD D, I noticed in my lab, through this window, these 3 girls sitting next to each other at my table, one in shocking pink, one in bright orange, and the other in the middle, wearing dark blue, who after thinking for a second, I realized were Ching Ching, I-forgot-her-name, and Mun Yee respectively. A second later I was at the doorstep of KPD D, and so I entered the lab area.
Siew See used to be in my lab class. I saw her sitting outside there alone, so I thought ‘Wah, class hasn’t started yet!’…So I was standing there stupidly doing nothing for a while, until she noticed me and said
SS : What are you doing?!
Me : Class hasn’t started yet what
SS : IM NOT IN YOUR CLASS ANYMORE REMEMBER?????
Me : ………oh
So at 8.26am I opened the door to the lab, and froze to death immediately (the aircon was so damn cold!).
During lab we cheated a bit (We did the experiment in a group of 5, and instead of repeating the experiment for different timing, we just took 3 stopwatches, and 3 of us took readings) and left at 9.00am.
Then Mun Yee and I met Yee Ping for lunch, and Rezza decided to intrude on the ¾ ‘black tshirt and frameless glasses’ gang, so we all had spaghetti
Then, we went to play ping pong. We met Min Yang first, and Mun, Ping and I went to play ping pong with Aaron. After a little more than an hour, the ping pong room became so crowded with onlookers that I stopped playing (after successfully not listening to the FORCING of the rest), and decided to laugh at Yee Ping’s playing =)
Especially since a best friend of a friend of a friend was there watching me (us) play, and since I didn’t know him that well I didn’t wanna embarrass myself…
Actually hes a best friend of a friend, but that friend of mine is like an acquaintance-friend (right smack in the middle of the two levels), and I read the blog of that onlooker
Then Kah Yang and Aaron took on Mun and Ping…that was a sight to see =)
Then, because I was becoming slightly jealous that I wasn’t playing anymore, I forced Ping and Mun to go to class.
So, we went to Pings class first, where I was pretending to be the teacher, when unknown to me Mr Khoo walked in, and was just standing there (THANK GOD HE LIKES ME), and was laughing at me… :’(
Then, he talked to me and Mun, asking if we missed his class (perasan), and then finally he started teaching and so we decided to leave incase he did anything to us…So then I found that I had brought a marker with me, so I wrote down the ad for the Ping Pong club for Wai Ee, and then attempted to draw a sudoku puzzle, but my pen ran out of ink halfway, and so everyone (including ppl I have never seen in my life) was making fun of my barely seen lines.
Then Ms Kimmie walked in, and I went down to buy food with Shing Yun. Entered class 15 minutes later, and realized that because the pen was so light, Ms Kimmie didn’t realize the puzzle was there and had just written over it.
The class proceeded as normal, including several interruptions, one by me
Me : *teasing friend*
Ms Kimmie : Ruwannnnn! *in mock disappointment*
Me : Omg you remember my name! Yay!
Ms Kimmie : .........................*back to the lesson*
My teachers love me =)
