public speaking horror

today I went to toastmasters

Uhoh.


My sister is the Toastmasters Representative for PriceWaterHouseCoopers, and my moms cousin is the President of Toastmasters Worldwide. Thus, I guess it was inevitable that I should join and humiliate myself infront of around 20-30 people and act like a total fool.


It was quite fun la, the meeting, and I wanted to video Seok Mei (Ms.Upcoming Author)'s speech, but was too lazy especially after some guys talk about how MOBILE PHONES SHOULD NOT BE USED UNLESS IT WAS AN EMERGENCY (how dare he! blasphemy!)

Anyway, yeah, then since Tse Han (whos filling in a post I am so suited for) as Something of Language, (pointing out mistakes in English and Grammar - see Im so suited for it!) chose the word Birthday as the Word of the Week, the president, Joyce asked who was born in July

So of course ms kepo Siew See ordered me to put my hand up, thus making me HAVE TO MAKE A SPEECH

Which I totally sucked at, and I will never be able to show my face there again =(

And then when I reached home, I couldnt take the key out of the hole (because I was listening to music in the car, and my dad had gone back inside), and so for 1/2 hour I was struggling to get the stupid carkey out of the slot, and finally I admitted defeat and called my

DADDDDDYYY THE KEY WONT COME OUT!!!!!!

So, he came down, and told me 'The gear is at Neutral.....'

Then I looked at it and I was like...'Oh.................WHY DIDNT YOU PUT IT TO PARKING THEN???'

Yes so im an ungrateful (something) so what? Bite me =p
