as you know, life has this evil way with me. I think i do something well, but i fail...

like exams...i think i get an A, and i get a C....like that...

when i got home, i thought...maybe not this time...boy was i wrong the NEXT DAY!

well....i was reading seoks blog...


this is the extract

I'm pooped after loitering in 1 Utama the entire day with my friends. It was supposed to be a lunch + movie with Ruwan and Ju-En. But, of course Ruwan cooked up another plan..

At 1.15pm, met Ju-En in front of FCUK, who said that Ruwan was running late, so we walked around for a while. Ju-En was wearing such a feminine top! Really a HUGE difference from old Ju-En, not saying she was unfeminine in the past :p. Then came Ruwan and Ray Mun..and we went to TGV to buy tickets for Over The Hedge (which is quite a nice show!). Later, we went to TGIF for lunch, and when we walked into the entrance, VOILA!

Saw Tse Han, Boon, Sheen Sern, Shu Wei, Wenli, Chai Yee, Chin Wah sitting there waiting for me! So, Ruwan's "1/3 bla bla, 1/4 bla bal bla" present was a surprise gathering! (The hinting is just so LAME la). Can't believe Ruwan went to all the effort, to find my DU friends (although he didn't know them) , and my HELP friends to come celebrate my birthday together. He planned for 3 weeks yaknow?! During exams somemore! So..yeah, THANKS RUWAN! REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!! Ching Ching and Choey Ling dropped by to wish me too :) It was so nice, sitting in TGIF with my long-time-haven't-caught-up-with friends..

Lunch was normal, then came the TGIF people. That's the first and last time I'll ever stand on a chair in a restaurant! And hold a Chilly sauce bottle as my mic! Lol, quite malu. There're some incriminating photos flying around cyberspace now, but I WASN'T DRUNK! I SWEAR! Stupid lighting, not-stupid* photographer :p and not-stupid camera! It was more of a 'collecting-evidence-for-blackmail' session than a lunch :p

After that, had to dash off or we'll be late for the movie at 3.30pm, went in late, missed the first 10 minutes. So (for those who've seen the movie), I had no idea why the racoon had this sheet of paper with pictures on it. Of course, I finally understood the movie in the end. Ju-En took out her camera to take some pictures in the cinema, (DANG, your eyes sting when you take a picture with flash after sitting in the dark for 2 hours) and the cinema people came over, and 'lectured' us that video and recording devices are not allowed in the cinema. As if we were going to record the movie. *sheesh*

After the movie, followed Ju who was looking for England shirts, then decided to go bowling. Yes, in a skirt. Rest assured, I was the only girl wearing a skirt who was bowling in the entire alley. And also the only girl who had 6-7 rounds of 0,0 , 1 strike and another few more points. Ask Chin, she was there! Saw Yoke Yan and Wei Cheng so we went over to say hi also :) Then we saw Jeffrey, who bought me something! He keeps on insisting that it's just a small gift, but it's not the value that counts, it's the sincerity. :) Don't know why, sometimes I talk to some people, they seem to think rich people have it better, but really, I don't think they do. I'm more touched by people who care about my feelings, make me laugh and talk to me rather than people who throw money around, who don't care about other people's feelings, and basically treats me more like a material object than a real person. Not that I've met anyone from either category..

After that, went to buy Father's Day Present for my Dad..cos he complained to my mom "Why always Mothers' Day celebrated, but Fathers' Day no celebration?". So, I bought him a teddy bear which was wearing a jumper saying the words "#1 DAD". Hoping he'll put it in his car, just like my mom who put the heart-shaped cushion saying "I Love You Mom" in her car. In the back seat, not car boot.

Okay, the interesting part. Actually, I already knew there was going to be something on involving other friends. Yesterday night, Brian came online and said :

Brian : hey Seok, sunday i can make it, but saturday i think cannot.

Me : saturday got go out meh?! HOR YOU ALL GO OUT NEVER CALL ME! (referring to DU ppl)

Brian : you dunno?! I thought go out with your college friends? Julian say one.

So........ahem...

Then, today at 11am +, *beep beep* SMS.

Boon : "Hey, happy birthday! What time are you going there?"

OKAAYY.....

Then, at 1.15pm, while waiting for Ju-En outside FCUK..*beep beep* SMS.

Sam : "Hey! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! surprised with the party?"

....................

then while I was walking with Ju-En and waiting for Ruwan to arrive..(before going to TGV/TGIF)

*ring ring*

Sue Lynn : Hey! Are you happy with the surprise party? Sorry I couldn't make it, dance class just over.

SO....150 bucks and 4 weeks of planning-without-studying-for-exams-which-were-going-on went down the drain...

but it does explain the mysterious call i got when Tse Han and I were going to pick up Sheen Sern and Ian San from Mcd's

*imagine a lot of giggling in the background and laughter in seoks voice*
Seok : Ruwan? where are you?
Me : erm....why?
JuEn : *in background* DONT TELL HER! DONT TELL HER!
Me : erm.........okayyyy......
Seok : where are you?
Me : why?!? where are you?!?!
Seok : walking around la! JuEn leading me dunno where
Me : ohokay....
Seok : WHERE ARE YOU?!
Me : erm....not there yet *turns around in circle looking if seok had seen me*
JuEn : DONT TELL HER! DONT TELL HER!
Seok : where are you now?
Me : erm...almost there la!
Seok : WHERE?
JuEn : RUWAN! DONT TELL HER!
Me : erm...TV3?
Seok : ohok bye!
Me : erm......okay...bye...

after the surprise when seok just SMILES!!!

Anyway...just wanna take this opportunity to say

YES!!! NOW I CAN FINALLY POST ALL THEENTRIES THAT HAVE BEEN SAVED AS DRAFTS!

and also...

thank you to everyone who came! and ray mun as well tolerating my inecessant smsing. and thanks to all of you for coming with your cash to pay for the meals (i being the paranoid person i am brought spare cash to pay incase you didnt). Thanks for replying my smses eventhough at the time i was a TOTAL STRANGER!!! I could have been a stalker or someone!!! NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!

discounting the fact that seok knew about it just 5 mins before it happened, it was almost perfect so thanks....
