The Post of Randomness

Today (June 28) was my dads 60th birthday...

the conversations for the past 2 weeks were pretty much like this

Mom : so what are we doing for your birthday?
Dad : nothing!
Mom : What? We HAVE to do something!
Dad : why?
Mom : Its your 60th birthday! Its important! I didnt expect you to last this long!
Dad : Please Vasa (my moms nickname) just let me do what i want on that day! Thats the perfect day! Seinfeld! TV! Dont need anything!
Mom : Its your 60TH!
Dad : For my 70th you can do something

Argument goes on for 15 minutes, culminating in rising voices

So, today...
we had a surprise (yes...) lunch

My cousin/aunts and cousin/uncles and cousins and aunts/grandaunts came over for lunch...

We knew my dad would not come inside if he saw the cars there when he came for his lunch break, so we got him to come early, and then the relatives arrived later

So when he came down, there they were

And at certain points i could see his mouth curved downwards (cause he didnt want the lunch), but in the end (like always for the past 17 years) he enjoyed himself immensely.

On another note,

Im not afraid of the dark
Im not afraid of water
Im not afraid of closed or open spaces
Im not afraid of technology
Im not that afraid of lizards or cockroaches (but i do press against the wall holding my shower head in my hand pointing at them inching towards my door, rush out of the toilet and slam the door shut behind me when they appear in my toilet once a year)

Speaking of that, once (this year), after ages there was a cockroach in my toilet...i was finishing of my bath, and i saw it...it was coming towards me!!! I took the shower and hosed it BUT IT DIDNT GO BACK!!! FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! I WAS SO PETRIFIED!!!
IT WAS LIKE A MONSTER OKAY!

So thats when i did the above bracketed stunt

anyway continuing

Im not that afraid of heights
Im not afraid of the sun

But, Im DEATHLY AFRAID OF FROGGSSS

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I dunno why...i hate reptiles!!! Like the comodo dragon (shudder)

Once, i went to my paternal grandads old house to check if anyone had broken in or anything with my dad (at 7.30pm)...It was so dark...

and i was walking in the grass slowly, when my right sandal encountered with a thud something solid...

I freaked....cause deep down i knew what it was

I couldnt move...my eyes were slowly adjusting to the darkness, and then i saw the form...the form of the DEVILS SPAWN!!! OMGGGGGGGG

AND IT WAS ALIVE...BUT IT DIDNT MOVE AWAY....

IT WAS HUGE!!!

I ALMOST SCREAMED!!! My mouth was hanging open, and i couldnt move till my dad called me, and i stumbled backwards and ran into my car. I got back home and washed my leg with steaming hot water (it only hurt a bit), and my sandals as well...

frroggggsss......uuurrrghhhh....i suppose i should overcome it with time..but right now...omg....

Speaking of frogs, when my sister was still living in sri lanka when she was small, so that she could sleep without a single sound, my maternal granddad, used to go outside and kill all the frogs (they croaked)

anyway...i wish my guardian angel could do that...24 hours a day...*looks hopefully to the sky*

On another note

My cousing ran over my ps wire, and my ps fell to the ground even though 5 of us (my cousins) started screaming (hoping to propell it back into the cabinet with the power of sound)...and it was falling in stages, so we thought i might survive, and stay on top...

but then by the time me and that maid moved it just slipped past our finger tips and fell to the ground (and my feet had moved the cushions away when i stepped over them, so it JUST missed them)

haihz....

and then the TV didnt work when they went home, and so i had to call my cousin/uncle who was feeding his baby to come upstairs to help me fix it...and then we realised that the tv switch was off...

oh the humiliation...my cousin/aunt wouldnt let me forget about it...
anyway...
